Recipe: Pressure Cook Chicken

Chicken Insta-Pot Pressure Cooker

Sometimes a busy life leads to a time crunch when cooking dinner. Instead of taking 30+ minutes cooking chicken in the oven, only to find the meat has dried out, try cooking it quickly in a pressure cooker. The results end up being low hassle with high tenderness!

Ingredients:

4 (6 to 8-ounce) boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 cup Water

 

  • Install Pressure Cooker steamer basket or trivet. Arrange fresh chicken breasts on one layer in pressure cooker. Add water. Seal the lid and cook under high pressure for 8 minutes. 
  • Use quick release once complete, verifying color and temperature of Chicken to ensure properly cooked through. 
  • Additional time will be needed if cooking from frozen.
